ORDERING – Helium Balloons
The deadlines for ordering for next day is:

  •  Before 3pm on the previous day for Tuesday – Saturday deliveries (Saturday deliveries have a small surcharge)
  •  Orders for Monday delivery must be made by 10pm on the previous Friday

We can often accept a later time depending on our workload – but after the deadline we suggest that you phone the order to us. Any order received after the specified deadline, if we cannot manage to send it for the requested date, will be sent for the next available delivery date.
Post Codes
Please ensure that the post code is shown for the delivery address – and that it is accurate.
We cannot accept any responsibility for delayed deliveries if you give us incorrect post codes or if the post code is missing or incomplete
Advanced orders
Orders can be placed up to 6 months in advance.[top]
Order Acknowledgements
When you place the order, your successful payment is acknowledged by Worldpay with an email entitled ,”Confirmation: CARD Transaction”.
This gives you a transaction reference, showing that your payment has been accepted, as well as our contact details
After completing your order you will also see an acknowledgement screen from us that says that the order has been placed and this also quotes the transaction reference number.
If you see the acknowledgement screen and get the email then your order will be processed as requested
Under normal circumstances we would not send out any further acknowledgements.
Also, because many people use shared / family email addresses, sending back an email confirmation can often ruin a surprise.

Standard weekday deliveries:
The balloons are sent out by first class post using the Royal Mail Guaranteed Delivery Service. This is the service included in our standard prices, and operates for deliveries on Monday to Friday. Under normal circumstances this will guarantee delivery before 1pm on the next working day for most UK destinations (see “Remote Locations” section below).
Please note however that any parcels sent to offices will be delivered to the mail reception area, and that the actual time that the intended recipient actually gets the balloon is outside our control.
Note: For Royal Mail deliveries, someone must be available at the address to sign for the delivery. The delivery can not be left ‘safe’ or at a nearby address. If signing for a delivery might be a problem then we would suggest sending it to an alternative address such as a work address, relative or neighbour, because the delivery will only be made to the address on the label.
Saturday deliveries with Royal Mail:
For deliveries on Saturday morning there is a surcharge applied by Royal Mail. We do not offer a guaranteed delivery on Saturday, and do not accept any responsibility if the delivery is not made by Royal Mail. Therefore we do not offer a refund for failed Saturday deliveries. We strongly recommend that for Saturday deliveries that you have the balloon delivered on a Friday and ask us to mark the parcel ‘DO NOT OPEN UNTIL SATURDAY’
Remote Locations for Royal Mail Special Delivery
For some of the more remote areas a next day delivery is not possible. Please contact us if in doubt or view the Royal Mail pages for more detailed information or you can view our own page of information on delivery and ordering times for The Highlands and Islands of the UK.
Overseas Deliveries
Unfortunately the prices quoted are only valid for UK deliveries. We are unable to offer deliveries to overseas destinations.
Cancelled orders
If you wish to cancel an order, then provided we have not despatched the balloon, we will refund your purchases, less a £2 administration fee.
The cancellation fee also applies when we have to refund an order because delivery is requested to an overseas destination. (We clearly state on the ‘product’ page and also on the payment page that we can only deliver to UK destinations – due to the fact that under IATA regulations, helium balloons cannot be transported by air).
Delayed deliveries
Once the balloon has been accepted for delivery on the requested date by the receiving Post Office or nominated courier service, and a receipt obtained, we consider the liability for on-time delivery as being passed to the Royal Mail or Courier. As such, we limit our liability for any compensation on delayed deliveries to the amount that was paid for the postage or courier service
If a delivery is not attempted on the date requested, then this fact must be reported to us in writing within 5 days of the requested delivery date. We can not however be held responsible for any delays due to strikes, any other industrial actions, disturbances, adverse weather conditions, or situations outside our control.
Please note that we do not offer deliveries on Bank Holidays, Public Holidays or Sundays, and that any balloon ordered for a Saturday delivery is not guaranteed to be delivered on the requested date. Refunds will only be offered, at the discretion of the management, for deliveries that are not attempted on requested working days only.
Any additional items such as cards, badges, soft toys etc are not eligible for refunds.[top]
Damaged deliveries
If the goods are delivered in a damaged condition then we must be notified within 5 days of the delivery, and the outer box and contents must be kept available for inspection, either by us or our contractor. If requested, evidence of the damaged must be provided – we will pay for any postal costs involved. Our liability for damage is limited to a full refund of the amount of the purchased gift.
Product availability
Due to the heavy last minute demand, at certain times of the year, it may not always be possible to send the exact balloon ordered.
If there is sufficient time, and there is a problem supplying the exact balloon you have chosen, we will obviously contact you by email, with the alternative designs available. If the order is within 24 hours of despatch , then we will substitute the nearest design so that the delivery is not affected.
If you only want to place the order for the exact balloon selected, then we suggest you contact us first by phone (0845 5191231) to check availability
Any potential problem can be overcome by placing the order in good time
Order Processing/Refunds
All stock items featured online are subject to stock availability.
If you order an item that is out of stock we will contact you by e-mail or phone:
You can then decide to: (i) Substitute it with another item  (ii) Keep the selected item on back order (iii) Cancel your order completely without charge (iv) Delay the whole order until all items are in stock
Defective goods may be returned to us in their original condition and packaging for a full refund.
Except for the above, refunds will only be given at the discretion of the management, provided goods are returned in good condition, at the purchaser’s expense. Postage charges are not eligible for refund. Returns can only be made with our prior agreement.
If we have supplied a copy or proof of the artwork/design for approval, either in hard copy or electronically, and this has been accepted, then we cannot accept any responsibility for any subsequent errors. Any errors that are shown to be due to us will be corrected free of charge.
Delivery and Delivery charges
Unless otherwise stated all delivery charges given in  our quotations are for delivery by First Class Royal Mail post in the UK, or standard airmail outside of the UK. We cannot be held responsible if the purchaser provides an incorrect post code or incomplete or wrong address.
If you select normal first class post or airmail or other services that do not offer a guaranteed delivery service then whilst we will do our best to post the order to meet your requirements it should be noted that unless you choose and pay for a ‘Guaranteed Next Day delivery’  postal or courier service that we are not responsible if the order is not delivered on time.  Depending on the value of the goods we reserve the right to send them by recorded or registered delivery or by courier – in which case the extra cost will be borne by ourselves.
The cut-off point for ‘next working day’ deliveries  depends on the delivery method and products(s) selected, but for typical orders it would be around 3pm
For shipments outside the UK, we will normally despatch these by Royal Mail on a ‘to be signed for’ delivery basis. The transit time is normally 5-7 working days for European destinations and 7-10 outside Europe – but these are only estimated and non-guaranteed indications. We can use courier services, if required, for more urgent deliveries.
In the unlikely event that a delivery is declared lost by the carrier, you will be entitled to either a replacement or full refund.
We cannot be held responsible for actions or delays beyond our control and under no circumstances do we accept any claim for consequential loss as a a result of a failed or lost order.
Product Details & Personalisation Details (where applicable)
We cannot guarantee to print to specific Pantone colours on small orders.
We cannot reproduce anyone else’s trademarked text, trademarked logos or copyrighted images. We take every effort to avoid the use of anything that might be copyright or trademarked, and if necessary we will seek further clarification and assurances from the customer,  but it is the ultimate responsibility of anyone requesting any personalised text, image, graphic or photograph to ensure that there are no legal reasons to prevent their use.  By placing the order and accepting our terms and conditions, then the purchaser agrees, without reservation,  to indemnify us against any legal action that might ensue and to accept full legal responsibility and costs associated with any consequent legal action.
If you are supplying us with a photograph or original artwork,  then please supply as large an image as possible and do not crop any photographs too tightly . You must ensure that you have the photographer’s or original artist’s permission to use his/her work. If felt necessary, then we reserve the right to ask for additional clarification or assurances that you have the requisite permissions – and if requested you must provide us with adequate proof.
Notwithstanding our best efforts as detailed above, any photograph, text or image if supplied to us or any text requested from us will, by default, be assumed to have the requisite permissions obtained for reproduction purposes. If as a result of the use of the image or text there is any legal challenge regarding the legality of such use, then by requesting us to produce the order, you agree to indemnify us against any legal action that might ensue, and agree that any legal costs incurred in the defence of the action, as well as the cost of our time, and any other costs we incur as a result of this incident, will be passed to you.
For clothing or custom printed items, please ensure that you carefully read the washing/cleaning instructions for any clothing and mugs
For stock items such as chess sets ,photographs and images of the products may differ from the actual products, due to the hand made nature of several of the products, such as slight variations in the actual colour and size.
For any of our products, we do not make any claims regarding suitability for purpose of any of our products and do not accept any liabilities, directly or indirectly, resulting from the usage of the products.
Duties and Taxes
If any items are sent overseas, then they may be subject to local duties and/or taxes. Any payment of these duties and taxes has to be made by the person receiving the consignment.

Payment can be made, and orders placed, by any of the following methods:
On-line For on-line payments, we are using the services of WORLDPAY, who offer the highest level of security for secure credit card processing, with the transaction being processed over a secure, SSL encrypted Internet connection. We also accept Paypal.
By phone from 8:30am until 6:30pm with payment being made by credit card
By fax to 0871 243 8758 with payment being either by Credit Card (remember to include Card No, CVC number on the back of the card, Expiry Date and the Card holders address) together with the delivery date required, the greeting and of course, the recipient’s name and address.
We also accept cheques drawn on a UK bank  Payment should be made to CardsnBadges  .(the address is given below) . If payment is made by cheque, then we reserve the right to delay despatch of orders until  payment has cleared
Privacy policy and Cookie Information
Any personal details entered during the online ordering process are used only for the purpose of processing your order online.
We do not pass your details to any third party.
